xankara

A few things running out of a homelab.

Why "xankara"?

In Halo's Forerunner lore, xankara is the meditative state of a Forerunner sealed inside a Cryptum. The body rests outside of time while the mind joins the Domain, a vast store of shared memory.

The machines behind this site follow the same Forerunner theme (the server is Mendicant, after the ancilla Mendicant Bias), and a quiet place where shared things live felt like the right name. More on Halopedia.
